Honestly I don’t remember. I’m not sure I was even paying attention to who won/lost that weekend. I was just enjoying the cars.

Camaro and Chargers, yea probably.
But I do remember when people were fielding previous generation Boss 302 at a certain SCCA level racing, they were too competitive and had to be balanced out, and those had solid rear axles.
They were racing against BMW M3s, Porsche Caymans and a few other sports car models.
